Report on Ordinance No. 14 of 1904.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
An Ordinance to give effect to Article VIII of
the Brussels Sugar Convention, 1902
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to
the Governor's Instructions.
The purpose of this measure is to give effect in the Colony to Article VIII of the Brussels Sugar Convention, 1902, by empowering the Governor-in-Council to make such regulations as he shall deem necessary for the said purpose, and by prohibiting the importation of bounty-fed sugar.

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

The purpose of this measure is to dive affect in the Colony to Article VIII of the Prussels Sudar Convention, 1908, by empowering the Governor-in-Council to make such regulations as he shall deen necessary for the said purpose, and by oro- -hibiting the incortation of bounty-Sed sudan.
